Too Simple

A wise man said that many activities of this life are like chasing the wind.
There are so few cycles in one’s life that really have essence.
We tend to get caught up in the game of survival;
            with most of us, just barely managing to stay alive.

What is life? Is it just the experience of sequential events?
Maybe it is, and man can not face this basic fact.
We make up some noble purpose; dream up a value for our existence.
Maybe we just live our lives for a time, with the mere purpose of making our species survive.
The concept seams void of purpose; hopeless, but maybe it is all there really is.

I have to believe that (like me) you find this possibility too simple.
Surely live must be more than this?

So, allow others to find the value they need in life.
Don’t invalidate it, for you will be suppressing your own.
