The Pivot

Come to me, all of my family, friends and acquaintances.
I wish to convey the wisdom I have been blessed with… share the secrets of its origin.
For those not related at all; please search for your answers in my writings.
Trust your instinct and abandon your justifications.

There is a measure of wisdom and truth in everything; learn to separate it from the lies.
Do not trust information that leaves you confused; that doesn’t make sense.
In simplicity lies the answer; it is common sense in that it is common.
An action that feels wrong and must be justified is usually incorrect behaviour.

Be true to yourself; self sacrifice is a rare needed thing, you’ll know when it is due.
There is a reason why you must place yourself first, because that holds your strength.
The stronger you are in yourself; regardless of its origin, the greater is your help.
There is nothing as valuable as a clear and sane perspective.

The ability to make the right decision or a sane conclusion is priceless.
Anticipate the effect of your actions truthfully and do so responsibly.
Sometimes, what might appear right; leads to a destructive result for many.
Maybe it is saner to save a single mother of four; than her youngest child.

What is the pivot of your decision; it is not as much intelligence as it is foresight.
What is best for all involved and then… who and what is involved?
Your own survival most often leads to the survival of those connected to you.
You are significant; more than you know.

Know who you are and how you are responsible for others.
It is the first sane action to take; then see who is not assuming their position in this.
We are responsible; maybe even accountable, for more than most know.
Safeguard your environment and that of those most close to you; and survive.

I know that many trust in me for insight; that makes me take the responsibility.
I ponder on matters and continuously observe my environment to do this well.
Correct estimation is not a gift; it is a great responsibility that requires great effort.
Others are depending and trusting on your ability to get it right.

Education and self-education are the greatest tools to increase your abilities.
Experience and multi-viewpoint observation abilities will enhance your skill.
Failure to do so well; will come back to you, like ripples on a pond.
The same is true when you do it well; so, the wheel turns.

What or who is your pivot; if who… does that being know that?
Your and others’ survival depend upon that; whose pivot are you?
