Before
there was time as we know it now. Even before we had races from black to white There was an existence that goes beyond our current ability to grasp. The only way to tell this story is to tone it down. Existing; a mighty Empress who ruled this time, a warrior superior to any kind She had an army multi-millions strong, mobilized from every corner of what is known. This was a very different time, unlike anything now. Only two sides to this tale; like black and white, only right and wrong. Who can remember why the battle started, maybe only those who where old? But I can recall many battles as they raged on and on… You see; I was there by her side through it all. A beautiful Queen she was; royal blood from every line, before her alone I would bow. This world was void of gods, religions and television; you know, things that confuses. Fact was fact and the only thing that differed, in two ways only, was choice. A ruler, a fearsome lioness; was protecting those who where right. She was adored by all, even those who fought her. On the other side; and there is always another side, her brother. He was to inherit the kingdom, but his choices where wrong. So, their father in his wisdom declared my lady would rule. There was a divide between right and wrong; sister and brother. I made the right choice, serving as head general on her army. Oh, I myself was a mighty man, carrying a thousand stars on my robe. When I moved, comets would form, with eyes that each carried a blazing sun. Yet, I could not match her glory, the biggest being of all. The Queen and I were a team, one never seen without the other. And though we comforted each other after battle, at home she had a lover. He was nothing much, a weakling at best; but his choices where right. I never understood what she had in him; such a small being. One does not question the Queen, what she decides must be right. So, as unconventional it seams now; close warrior friends we were. I and every other soldier would gladly die for her on the field. She is our guardian, the protector of great and small. Because we are right, we returned home victorious in battle with the wrong. As always I moved ahead; cleared the way for my Queen. Devastated I found in her home, her lover busy with another. And in my eyes, I found this very wrong. In fury, I marched strong; leaving galaxies behind. I took this cheating midget; and crumbled him in one hand. How could he be disloyal to the awesome creature I adored? He had it all; yet, he had to have more. The Empress returned to find her lover on the ground. I have killed him as he turned wrong, I told my superior. She looked at me, shed a single tear; said that she understands. But he was not wrong, for his behavior was approved by me. Something changed, right against right brought shades of gray. Black and white was no longer alone. Now existed; levels of right and not completely wrong. Look; I created a new dimension. The empress found in her heart a dilemma, for I was now somewhat wrong. Yet, because of all the grays; and a love in her heart she could not destroy me. This powerful being, was weakened and the core. So much had to be done to balance existence; a new world had to be formed. I was shattered, though I was still loved; to see my Queen so weak. I knelt down before her, begging her to strike me down. She refused, the love was to strong; but in her hand was a spear, tip to top. I fell forward, laying my life down. As I faded, I saw her weep; both her men now gone. My coat formed a black canvas of universe, bits of me scattered all around. The loss was far too much, so she dived into this creation. She’s searching for my soul; still… |
