| Over the
years I have nurtured a relationship with you. It was my favorite project; my favorite work of art. Now look, something very special was created; something we both care about. Something beautiful was created and we benefited from it; both. As with all nurturing; the time comes when we should let go. We need to let go to the point where life takes an existence in itself. We must open the door of our safety, our security; and permit choices to be made. Responsibility and love will permit the other the best route for him or her. Setting things free is to install free will to the essence of such a creation. This is true for animals, children, loved ones and yes; it is true for you and me. A relationship is a creation; it is putting something there where nothing was before. A relationship requires nurturing, care and love; it is a careful creation. Maybe the time has come to let go; but I assure you it is as hard for me as you. There are greater responsibilities than our hearts desires. Though it is not what I want, maybe it is best for all concerned. Don’t ask me of how; for the answer allude me and I don’t know how I will carry on. I pray and beg for more time, but it is obvious that our time has passed us by. Morning will carry a little less promise; the day may seem void and dull. My smile may fade away as I curse the time away. But, the sacrifice will be for those we care about; they may never know how much we care. What we have is special, something that fairytales and love stories are based upon. I cherish you completely; that is why it sometimes so hard for me to see when you’re wrong. I will always take your side; refuse any bad word about you. Your dress remains white and your heart pure. I hope you will stay. I wish we could just find another way. How I will miss you to my hearts dismay. Go or stay; the love in my heart will never fade. |
