I called on
an old friend today. The man I knew so well was inundated by his sentiment, entrapped by his cerebration. As I reasoned with him, I soon inferred his dilemma. He was saddened about having to comply with compelled belief and conduct. The confines of this noesis clogged his presence. He pondered on the intellect behind these dictations; and the generality of this mastery, merited for an elect. The injustice of these occurrences outraged his core. See; he discovered amoral fondness in the heart, for this tenderness was additional to the adoration for his mate. He wept for polygamy, feuding to apprehend its iniquity. Was he at the brink of insanity, or merely at the threshold of truth? He was contemplating on how such endearing emotions can be inappropriate? For now, it is taboo, for it is dictated in the moral code. Omitting to comply could cause exclusion. Partially alone and uncomprehended he continued with his day. |
