| If I could
look across time, I would visit the past and scout the
future. So many times will be available, like when we met; the first shared smile. Then there is “now”; my favorite time, just being with you in our toy-full way. I just can’t get enough of you, even when your mood is not so great. Now, as I journey to the times ahead, I can only speculate. I can just hope, dream, that we still share our time together. Life is unpredictable and the time we have with loved ones; time borrowed. The places in their hearts; rented, paid for with our love and kindness How can I look at you and not be thankful of your presence in my life? You are the smile on my face; the warmth in my heart. Your smile is like the moonlight, bringing sweet, soft validation to my being. The sparkle in your eyes is like starlight; then, I know, I’ve done something right. My wish is that you never part from me; that you’ll always please my heart and eyes. Who knows what tomorrow brings; who knows what choices we’ll make. My intention though, is to share my time with you. Of all the beautiful and precious beings I’ve known; you are the best. So, for now I am fortunate, thankful; for knowing someone as wonderful as you. May we always agree; look favorable at each other with love. May you warm my heart for ever as you do now; everyday. Know this; you will always have a cozy place in my heart. |
