There are
times that I look upon this world and laugh out loud. The behaviourism seems absurd, silly, miscalculated, foolish or even idiotic. But, I behave this way too; so, it is like calling all knives useless, while I butter the bread. We have over complicated this existence for a reason; to live colourful lives, good or bad. Here are a couple of important things to reflect on, while contemplating life: First there is choice; the only thing that truly makes us free. We can choose almost anything, good or bad. We choose to love and also to hate; to be happy or to be blue. Choice is senior to everything else as it determines who you are. Then; there is communication, the information we pass on to others. Surprisingly we communicate with more of us than just our mouths. Our behaviour and the choices we make are communicated to all. Communication controls how you are seen; loved or despised. Also; there is expectation, that which is wanted and needed by us and others. Know that expectation is not always as clear as in a job description. Mostly expectation is unspoken, unwritten and very poorly communicated. This one; expectation, is the biggest cause of upset in any given relationship. Finally there is love, which has the power to overcome all our imperfections. With love we will care enough to accept someone’s choices even when it hurts. Communication is easier when someone cares to listen and understand. Also, love can forgive when an unspoken expectation has not been met. I know that man won’t change his ways just because I announced its unworkable state. I know that people will still divide into groups; by class, race, belief and viewpoint. I realize that many will not attempt to reach a higher understanding of this life. I understand that some will remain as they are, surviving just barely. This life is about learning new lessons; it’s about understanding our own universe better. I will share my findings with those who care to listen. It is certain; we have a choice and with that choice comes some form of consequence. Live is about achieving a balance that makes us survive better than before. |
